Think Tank update for April 2022 (End of Think Tank)
We’re so pleased to be wrapping up our Fellowship with a final update on the workings in the team.
We hosted a showcase event on the 14th April 2022, giving the Fellows a chance to talk about their work. A recording of the event is below:

This map is still a work in process, and we’re interested in adding more research resources and tutorials so that as much useful information is available for other educators and enthusiasts as possible.
Fellows Eze and Michelle are experienced tertiary level educators, and we are really pleased that they had a full paper accepted for the SITE conference in April. Eze is presenting in San Diego. The paper title is:
Reimagining Learning in Virtual Spaces: Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice
and it is based on the work by the Fellowship team.
Aleman, Bakerson, Barberry, Blaze, Chew, Finnegan, Sheku (2022). Reimagining Learning in Virtual Spaces: Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice. In SITE Conference 2022, San Diego.
Live presentation at the SITE conference.
We collaborated with Michael Clifford, an educator in Vietnam, who was presenting a session "Bringing the virtual classroom to life using Gather Town” at the IB Global Conference. It was great to see other educators using virtual worlds. We produced a short summary of our work so far:
